Default Audi S2 3B Boost Leak

I Know this question will have been asked many times, it is very hard to bung the boost pipes, I have had the front end off the car again, and refitted all the induction hoses and can report the boost pressure was up at about 17psi, after a few days the hisss was back and I find my self having to remove the front end again, so no further forward and more off road time,
can anyone point me in the right direction, my favorite for the last leak was the outlet from the turbo but that now has double jubilee clip on it, the intercooler was tested from pipe to pipe and no leak at the O ring seal was found, just need a little help. (yes I know I need help)

The obvious advice would be print your new bung and pressurise the system to find the leeks.

Has it got its original boost pipes on? if so I would seriously consider spending the £200 or so and getting Roose motorsport ones on it.the O ring from intercooler to the cross over pipe also needs a pipe putting over the whole connection to future proof it,look on s2forum for 'mark H mod',replace all the small bore vac pipes at the back of the engine aswell

there are literally hundreds of threads on s2forum of people having on going boost problems,a good amount would have been solved instantly with a new set of hoses

Yep totally agree with Spink. The S6 developed a nasty boost leak,it turned out to be the Michelin man hose that connects between the intercooler and cross pipe. There's nothing wrong with the original rubber pipes when new but at this age now one really should be replacing all of them with Silicone ones.

Sorry I should have said the hoses have been replaced with a set of 5 silicon hoses, I was just looking for the common places of boost leaks.

I would check the pipe right side as you look at car coming off the intercooler. Not a lot of metal for it to grip to. Also make sure they jubilee clips have not 'cut through' the silicone.

As others have said, first place i'd be checking:- Intercooler to cross-member interface.

I second that emotion - you need special clips for silicone hoses that grip evenly all the way around.
