Default Girling G60 fitting problem - pics inside

Okay, after finally reaching the point where i put the B3 suspension back on my coupe GT all was going quite smoothly until i tried fitting the brake disc.

The brake discs are Zimmerman discs, dia 276 mm - 25 mm thick
With the brake disc fitted to the hub it then is not perfectly aligned with the center space of the brake caliper holders. This problem could be overcome by simply adding some spacers in between the brake caliper holders and the hub mounting points.

This is the brake disc:

This is the hub:

This is the disc fitted to the hub + the brake caliper holders

This is the current situation:

So i simply add spacers accordingly at the red arrows to align the brake caliper holder with the disc?

what are the hubs from and what are the discs for.

There are different versions of discs and hubs for saloons and Coupes - they cannot be mixed or you get the problem you're seeing

Looks like you have the wrong discs.. They're available in 51mm and 56mm height...

Fitting the pads is of no use as the disc is thoughing the brake caliper holder if i were to screw it down.

The hubs are of a B3 - the discs are for a B3 but i wasen't aware there were two versions.
I bought the hubs of a guy with a massive amount of Audi parts - so i wasen't told from what type of B3 they came.

So rather then trying to sell these and scoursing the other one i'm simply going to add spacers.

You'll need longer wheel bolts too

For safety, personally I wouldn't use spacers behind the disks. Disks are cheap enough these days....

I think he's spacing the carrier, not the disc..

Is the 51mm offset disc the uber expensive one?

The 51mm disc is the 90 20v disc and less common so more expensive
