i'd put it back to original height and put smaller wheels and bigger tyres on it! comfy as hell..

if you want your ar*e on the tarmac buy a go-cart, or a mini.

Gave them a call lunch time and they can do a set of 4 lowering to any height and spec delivered for £165 or they can do something with your old ones if you send them to them to make them the lenght you require for £85.
Not sure about the second option but £165 for a full set not bad. Question is what drop do i go for. 25-30mm drop is a gestimate???

£165 seems their standard price. He's a nice guy, and it seems to be a business with a lot of dealings in the suspension tuning world. So you can't go far wrong.

Looking at your car right now, it's already running low profiles, which is going to be felt, without stiffening up the suspension. My V8 on 17inch wheels is unbearable compared to 16inch, on local roads.
I'd imagine 25mm/30max would be bearable. Otherwise, you're going to hate it in no time, and where's the point in that?

I'd look at top mount condition and dampers if your getting banging on bumps... Lowering wont make the car stiffer unless the springs are either A. thicker coil diameter, or B. wound closer.

40mm looks fine and I suspect if you can get the suspension components in good mechanical order it will be fine at that.

Ermm I rarely go near the museum but I can see about popping in on lunchbreak for you. Photographs taken at work are monitored!
