Had just seen that before I logged onto the Forum - still at 99p then: not really my scene, but such a rarey that it should indeed be saved - so hope it does go to a good home! I could not go for it - 3 purchases in a month would be pushing it! But I was still tempted. Glad it's got the interest of 'someone' on here :-)). Cheers.

Just had a mail back. Only came off the road last June.
Has some paperwork/history with the car, but not sure quite how much.

The only other one ive seen recently is rotting away in a farmers yard near Wolverhampton (not far from Cosford actually)... thats if it IS a 100, you can only just see it as you drive past, it could be an 80.

I can only remember seeing one moving under its own power, back in 1992ish. Unfortunately it was at a banger meeting in Birmingham and had a MK1 granada buried up its ar$e.

Someone save this one!

OK, tell me where and I'll go and investigate a bit further! Living in Wolverhampton and working in Cosford and traveling between the 2, day in, day out, I haven't espied it as yet!

I can picture the place in my mind, but cant remember the name!...something hall? Ill get on multimap.

I hope someone on here does get that audi, gets it roadworthy and spends loads of dosh on it. Then they can sell it do me for a fraction of what it cost them.

Looking at Multimap I *THINK* its on the A41, Wergs road....

*MYSTIC MEG IMPRESSION*

Using my brain I can remember a pub on the left, heading towards Cosford away from Wolvo. Next to the pub is a phone box, on the opposite side of the road is a layby. Further up the road, which is on a hill theres a semi disused petrol station that sells biofuel and has a hand car wash or something. All of this is out in the countryside, surrounded by fields.

Well, before you get to all of that theres a crossroad with traffic lights, and before that theres a grotty looking farm on the left with loads of rotten old cars behind the overgrown hedge/fence. Amongst those cars is a rusty Audi 100, same shape as the one on ebay!

Its been that long since ive been there that I cant pinpoint it exactly on multipap. Does the description ring any bells, Coxy?
