Well, that's why there's CD's and digital media. I'm glad that audi started using integrated antennas starting with B3 or C3, not B4, because that prevents from using reminding empty center console switch place for funk switch, which would [not] be turning on powered antenna, as it's useless to having it rolling out everytime when I turn on the ignition and stereo starts to play CD
As for your B2's - has anyone tried D2 A8 antenna retrofit? I read that one latvian wrote 10 years ago he installed D2 electrical antenna in his B2 A90q. Last edited by msh; 17-08-13 at 10:40 AM. |

Yes he has, will contact him me thinks, cheers.
Just had the ariel off my Ur and took it to bits. What a mess! The booster part which separates from the motor, the internal circuit board is snapped into several parts - no wonder no reception. The motor runs but the nylon chord that shoves the ariel mast up and down had snapped. The teeth and drive are ok. Why is there what looks like a fluid drain pipe fitted? Can't do anything with it though with the booster circuits busted. Anybody got one going spare? Booster or Fuba complete. Just a thought. Cheers |
