The Nothelle car is owned by a Belgian friend, and that's way it's driving over here.
The engine was build at the time by the father of André Lotterer. He is very motivated to race the Audi Coupé when the program with Audi Sport allows this. And the sound live is indeed incredible at 8500 rpm... |

The Coupé is testing tomorrow in Zolder.
Rolf Nothelle is this week in Belgium and fixed the fuel problem with the Kügelfischer injection. That was the problem which stopped the car at the last race in Spa. Next race is on 8 September, in a pre-race of the 24 hours of Zolder. |

Hoping there'll be more vids of the race(s) at Zolder, but in the meantime there's this, taken on last weekend in August:
Some lovely close-up filming of it idling with the bonnet up |

Race yesterday was okay, 5th for the regular pilot, with some fast German drivers in front, 10th for the owner who drove his first race. Light damage at the front, but easy to repair.
During the test, the engine reved 9000 rpm, no problems. |
