Default Dont do what I did.

Went for a run on sunday morning.
Well you can do that bit, the problem is when running over grass, or more specifically cross country stuff.
You could even do that if you want but really, dont go stepping on a broken bottle where the base is stood upright, Like what I gone done.
And stuffed a nice two inch shard of razor sharp glass through the sole of my shoe and into my everso delicate size 11's, right down the middle.
And then have to pull the bugger out and have to stump it back home a half mile.
The crunch as it went in and broke off was a tad disconcerting I might add.
No fun, im like a one legged frog this past few days, I think ill hop it now.

And they say running is good forkeeping you fit!

Ouch!

Did they X-ray to make sure there's no glass left in the wound?

When he was 17, my dad tripped playing football and put his arm though a window which cut his forearm wide open. He has a U shaped scar which runs almost from the elbow to the wrist.
He is 70 this year, and he still has a piece of glass which has gradually made its way right into the elbow joint where it cannot now be removed and sometimes causes trouble. It only started causing any pain about 10 years ago, and that's when they did an X-ray and found it in the elbow joint.

Big chicken I am didnt go hospital at all, Was afraid theyd insist on sticking needles in me and hate anyone touching my feet anyway- Tickles way too much!

I cant feel anything left in there as Im certain itd still be cutting if walked on, seems to be sorting itself out quite nicely actually.

In next weeks exciting episode, Man has leg removed after foot goes green.

I'm surprised they couldn't remove it from his elbow. I had a pole dancing incident on my stag weekend, don't ask and managed to chip part of my elbow off and that was successfully removed under local anaesthetic around a year later. Made the Doctor and nurse smile when told I them the true story of how I did it and not the "domestic fall" I told BUPA!

No pictures?

Stephen king and his ilk can write up a good spine chiller. Otherwise, Hollywood’s special effects department can rustle up a good bit of gore.

This short story needs visual support, as it appears you’ve been tickling yersel wi a bottle.

Make sure that your tetanus status is up to date. I’d get a booster if I were you.
