My earliest memory of RM was the Persuaders and I loved his Aston.
In the late '70s whilst being dragged around Earls Court by my mum and dad we saw him on one of the boat stands. We pestered the man to let us past the velvet rope but RM saw us and asked him to let us through. He was SO nice to us ! Was he the best 007? I don't know but I loved L&LD and TMWTGG. My favourite role of his: Lt Shawn Flynn in the Wild Geese. |

What a lovely story, He was the best for me as i grew up with him as Bond and have compared him to the rest since. When you consider the others, there's lots of macho hard men about to choose from who could do the role, or who have done the role, the present bond and Shaun Connery springs to mind, but Roger is was totally unique. |

Here's another great tribute from 1995. R.I.P Roger greatly missed but not forgotten!
