Got him doing the job on Monday. Not massively cheap, but it saves me spending my day off driving to Dorset and back.

He did a splendid job
Shiply on the other hand, do not answer emails or the phone, and still have two of my deposit payments. I issued a claim via Paypal. Shiply's sole response was to say that there is no tracking number available for the item as it was payment for a service (errrr, yeah, that's what I said when I put the claim in). So Paypal are "reviewing" it and maybe one day will come up with the answer. In other news, the last lot that bid on it trade under the name of "Canary" on there. They apparently are this firm http://www.cprltd.co.uk/ They're reason for not doing the job is they only run artics, so couldn't access the pickup point. Of course, all their customers are supposed to know exactly what's in their fleet, so it would be a total waste of time for them to put a message on the bid saying that they need access for an artic at both ends I left them the following negative feedback on Shiply after they tried to make out it's my fault that they didn't check they could do the job: "Very disappointing. Bids on everything whther they can do it or not, and don't say they can't until you've paid your deposit." Which prompted the folowing email Quote:

Just Google shiply. Once you get past the promotional guff, you find plenty of unhappy users:

Cheers dude, was reading those the other night. To be honest, I don't fk about. If I don't get my money back of paypal they get one chance on a letter before action, then it goes Small Claims.

Good on ya yeti. as a transport provider on shiply myself I would love to see someone stick it right up these sort of idiots. Very fed up trying to put in what I feel is a fair price for the service I offer with guaranteed delivered by times and company's like this come along and bid lower then do not do the job.
I do not really bother with shiply now and just concentrate on building a local customer base. The users of shiply do not seem to understand the different types of service being offered either and this makes it easy for the charlatans either big or small to operate on there. |

Don't get me wrong, the first bloke was clearly a one man band trying hard, most likely like yourself, and stuff went wrong for him. I'm totally understanding of that because I've been self-employed and most of my family are, he was sincere and apologetic. "Canary" on the other hand have truely f****d me off.
