Audi A4 B5 mpg display
My mpg display (actual not average) has decided it wants to reset to - - - every half mile or so. No vagcom fault code but I cannot think this is usual. Took out fuses etc to reset and cleaned fuel tank plug contacts. Any ideas?

That's an odd one! So the rest of the trip info is staying fine?

It does it not necessarily when I am coasting but does your A3 do the same thing?

The 90 does too interestingly, over 200(!) but fuel consumption isnt a concern on that car as much, tend to leave it on miles left to go instead... |

Ah well, perhaps it is normal and I have just never noticed before. I normally keep it on miles left in the tank but that went a bit funny hence fuses out etc.
