74 C1 100 For Sale
There comes a time when one has to let go of a classic car, and I feel that the time is right for someone else (wherever he/she may be) to have the opportunity to enjoy owing a piece of Audi history. I fell into the same trap of imagining that I would have the time to restore it to its former glory, but alas, a lack of time and commitments have put an end to those aspirations. It would be a huge travesty to see it sit idle with a lack of attention. These cars are made to be driven, not sitting around idle.
I have for sale a 1974 Audi 100GL Automatic. The car is as is when I bought her 3 years ago. It is completely unrestored, and would benefit from a complete restoration. It has a factory sunroof, but it no longer works as the previous owner sealed it up when the rubber seals failed, and couldn't find any replacements. The engine starts up at the first turn of the key (the beauty of an electric fuel pump), although that was not always the case in the past, until we discovered the culprit. It idles smoothly The odometer reads 54568kms although the number of times the odometer has gone pass 0, and collected $200 is anyone's guess. The dashpad has seen better days and is cracked which is a common occurrence with these models. The door seals have also been replaced. The seats would benefit with a good restore. Please PM me if you are interested as I'm based in Melbourne, Australia. If you're based at the arse end of the world, give me a call on +61 400 216 007. I'll shut up now and let the pictures do the talking at https://imgur.com/a/Bhm7f Last edited by getafix; 15-11-17 at 01:29 AM. |
