My uncle had one in the 90`s,it was do-do brown and really was a bag of s##t !

My parents had one 1750 HLS model with the hydralastic suspension. Used to tow the caravan in the early 80's. Velour interior nice.

Same as us, was used to tow our caravan - although we had an HL with the pleather interior....

My Dad had a couple, he loved them.....

One of the first cars with 5-speed gearbox IIRC, but changing gear was like stirring a Christmas pudding. Always let the clutch out gently in the hope that you'd selected fifth and not third...

I think they left the factory with either a caravan or camping trailer attached.

A good workhorse and quite roomy back in the 70's but look so small now.

i went out with a girl years ago who owned one. only because i could put my bike in the back without having to take the wheels off going to bike races!!

I have fond memories of my uncle in his red 1750 HL,sracing my dad in his Jamaica Yellow mk 1 Cav. Much as I like the Cav the Maxi beat him especially on top end. Gearbox was porridge. But underneath was flat as a pancake for aerodynamics, really amazing to see. Thanks to unions BL was toast very soon after.
