It's too good for the scrap man. I'm sure this classic can be saved with some TLC.

That's exactly what I thought too Anthony, but if there isn't even any interest on Classic-Audi then I'm afraid it's just and I wanting to save them.

Surely, if I had had my own house with a garage I would just have kept it there for a good while. But the tax only lasts 24 hours after having bought the new one today, and I have nowhere to put it, not even if I tried and dismantle it into parts!

LOL. I'm lucky to have a garage to keep my classic mini out of the rain.

Ah, is that all? Not good that then. On the selfish side, at least I get more out of the Scrapping, if nothing else. They do say on the site that they'll try and keep them going if they can. But I doubt anybody else than an old car Audi enthusiast would. Even though i've loved her much she isn't even a Classic

Nice looking Passat though in a colour you don't really see on that car, just be cautious over the electronic parking brake, my dads '05 plate one went back to VW twice for rolling away when parked up, once nearly causing an accident. He walked out of the dry cleaners to find it gone and discovered it had actually passed a junction further up the road!! He had to leave it in gear after that as it was never successfully resolved...
Flipping Heck! Talk about a lucky escape!!!!
- and thanks!

So sorry, if I'd had a garage I would have kept it, but it had to be collected as I had nowhere to leave it.
It's gone here:

"Partner Recycling Lives
Contact Tel 01772665909
Email carcollection@recyclinglives.com"

In Preston, Merseyside. I received the DVLA notice that I am no longer the owner of the car, I do not know if they scrapped it or made use of it. As of course it was driving well when they collected it.

Sorry!
