Default Is it worth that much?

Hey guys and gals, saw this on ebay tonight, nice tidy looking car but with a starting price of £4,500 and the reserve not met at that, is this 100 quattro worth that kind of money? What are your thoughts?

You'd have to ask yourself how rare is a pearlescent white 100? = Extremely rare.
It being a Quattro puts the icing on the cake.
Looks like grey leather to me which is nice, would need to see pics.
It's had a lots spent on it to keep up condition saving it from the scrapyard.
It's a rare survivor so price doesn't look so bad to me plus it looks a nice car.

Just another thought.

Its quattro but only 136BHP so will be slow.

S6 much much quicker a better car that still returns over 30mpgs on a run.
S6 manual prices are similar to what he wants for the 100 quattro
in the same sort of condition. I guess it depends if your a dyed in the wool C3 man.

I was offered £4k for my humble 87 C3 Avant with 89k on the clock a couple of years ago by a keen (and quite young) Volvo enthusiast. My local BMW dealer hinted at a £3k trade in last year.

If the seller can benefit from the WOW factor in the eyes of the buyer at the time, then I guess that price is achievable.

Anyway, it's about time C3 prices started to creep up. They are under appreciated...

250k miles would probably put me off putting in £4k plus
