280 miles each way we drove!!
Did you see the guys in the pit lane with luminous "fog tyres" for sale?
I have photos in the attic of them (and others from the day) including a quattro or 2 iirc.

Should scan them & post them up

Oh, god, I've got some photo's somewhere too... Agfa Slides probably... down the back end and beyond of the loft....

I don't remember the tyres, I just remember Brands Hatch where Hoppy's drop was invisible...

A good day's racing too, many 6R4's, 2 or 3 quattros of course, a very quick (4wd) escort, mk3 I think plus plenty of mk2 as well.
