Funny you should say that, John, following my 20 mile round trip to the MOT station (it passed, with an advisory, light rusting to underside due to storage), I did rather wish that I could keep hold of it and make it nice again, maybe with the V8 in it... but sadly SWMBO would have kittens if I did bring it home..!!!
Couple of observations from said drive- the fuel pump is a tad noisy, I'll put a new fuel filter on, that sometimes helps, and there was an occasional stalling/idling hesitation, which I think is a bad earth, as each time it happened, the low fuel indicator lit, with 1/4 tankful...
