Default Coupe parts for sale

Just received this by e-mail.
Anyone need any parts from it!

Greetings from North Oxfordshire
You may be interested to know that a C Reg. 4 cylinder Silver Coupe has just reached 'Smiths of Bloxham' - a scrapyard 3 miles south of Banbury. It is complete - no front or rear end shunt. All glass intact excluding rear window. Carburetter model FFS/R

If you want a 'layman's opinion' of any part, just let me know. Smiths is a traditional scrapyard - neat rows of cars; sea of mud; help yourself; very reasonable prices.
Cheers

Thats always bugged me to be honest, the vat crap on second hand parts.

Im wondering how a vehicle that was imported and which had all taxes paid at import can then be subject to to vat when its being sold second hand for parts??
The vat was paid at purchase when new.

If you think about it, it sounds like a scam.
I have a theory.
Second hand parts dealer sets up and sells parts.
Is registered for vat and charges it on the parts he sells yes?
Heres what i think happens.
He submits a claim for the vat and can show the tax authorities that he has "overpaid" the vat because it wasnt justified in the first place so he gets the vat back and youre out of pocket.
Hows that sound for a rip off?
Or am i balking tollocks?

Hmm. Sounds interesting. Been trying to source a scuttle panel, drivers side front chasis leg + inner wheel panel to suit B2 Type 81/85 4 door quattro saloon. 1986 model.
