From a bear of very simple brain in such matters - how did you do them and where did the LEDs come from? All mine in my B3 have packed up.

I'd be interested to know too please Andy. I assume bulb and resistor in series but if you have specs or a source?

I'd like to do the Ur switches.
Cheers
Geoff

Well what you need are the flat ended wide angle lens hi brightness type leds. Your have to fit a 1/4 watt current limiting resistor onto each individual led. The resistor value will depend on the led's voltage and current, the supplier should give you this info. If the brightness of the led doesn't suit (too bright) you can increase the resistor value

The led voltage will be between 2 - 2.5V DC. The supply to each led needs to be +volt and earth on the switch. Thinking more about the b3 (because I simply do not know), if the existing bulbs are wired in series in the circuit, or are linked to a dimmer, it could prove to be a PITA to get this mod to work! Hopefully it will be the same as a B2!

One of the switches I put back on the car mistakenly turned out to be one of my broken buttons. I'll find it tonight and get a photo of the inside so you can all see how it was put together.

Any questions do feel free to contact me

Just to follow on from above, the leds were brought online, they were 5mm diameter red hi brightness. They were modified to make them fit. Some sites do them with resistors too.
