Default Lake District Classic Audi Drive

Ok here goes, hopefully carrying on the excellent day out carried out by cjp0349 aka Carl, how about this route meet at
Kendal - Crosthwaite twisty roads
Crosthwaite - Lakeland Motor Museum Photo shoot
Lakeland Motor Museum- Coniston good roads
Coniston - Ambleside
Ambleside - Keswick Dunmail rise
Keswick - Patterdale Lakeland pass **
Patterdale -Windermere - Kendal
93 miles 3 hour 20 mins drive
any takers for later in the year (don't want to wait till next year)

I would be up for this Tony!

Spent a lot of time round Ambleside / Windermere back in my uni days, had an old flame who was doing outdoor studies at St Martins who was also a bit of a petrol head, many a happy hour spent exploring!! There are some spot on views / roads in and around

Edit: might have to be a rather more sedate affair for the 90's sake however, she was feeling it by the end of 3 Counties...!

I'd be up for it, depends on the date as I'm going to Canada with work in July, then Belgium on holiday in August. Fingers crossed it fits!

I would suggest late August/September. I'm free any weekend but 28th is a Bank Holiday.

If I remember correctly you can have a blast up Dunmail rise but the rest are much slower as you don't go blasting up or down Kirkstone Pass unless you are
It'll be more picturesque and then there is tourist traffic to contend with

Would be able to do August / Sept - Sounds great. kirkstone pass is one we used to drive quite regularly, got a great photo out of the sunroof of the old 2.2E up there! Looking forward to this already
