Default Ur quattro Clutch Kit

Hi all, been looking on the web for a clutch kit for my Ur quattro 1984 WR engine number,
Sachs clutch kit would be preferred, LUK not so much, any advice or where to buy at fair price.

I got a LUK one a few weeks ago as couldn't find a sach's one £142+vat (trade from andrew page)

Sachs and LUK are actually the same company I understand as ive heard people mention that there are often LUK branded parts in Sachs boxes

This may interest you, a response from Schaeffler (LUK parent company) to a query on one of the BMW forums back in 2013;
Email response from Schaffler below:

Many thanks for your enquiry.

As you maybe aware, car makers do not make all of the components on a vehicle nowadays. Instead, a car is typically assembled using different components sourced from different parts manufacturers.

It is true that LuK are Original Equipment (OE) suppliers for most if not all volume manufacturers. However each manufacturer may source from a variety of suppliers. In this case it is probable that Sachs ZF are the OE supplier and we will then purchase this component and sell it under our "banner". Likewise other clutch suppliers (Sachs included) will sell our parts under their own "banners".

Best regards

Definitely pays to shop around, managed to get an LUK one from Euro car parts for around £130+vat.
