Get the Haynes manual for the 80/90. Covers almost everything just fine. I used one to rebuild my S2 Avant no problem. You just need to double check torque values before doing anything critical.

Nice one ill go for that then. What year was your s2? What year haynes should I get? Just the one that goes up to 1990?

My S2 is a 1994.
Yes, the one with the red 80 on it. That was the last one they did.

Interestingly I had to re buy one when I bought the S2 two years ago.
Back in the 90's, I had an Audi 80 for several years. It was a great car and I did all my own maintenance using a newly bought Haynes manual. About 5 years ago, I found the manual and didn't think I would ever need it again, so took it to the charity shop
