i should think he is after the very early 1 piece jobs only found on 1986 and early 1987 cars,g60s can be used on them apparently.i put up a wanted thread 3 or more years back and found bugger all

The usual B2 upgrade to G60 brakes I've seen involves fitting B3 Typ8A two piece struts, which I will fit to my car sooner or later.
As for one piece struts, unfortunately I don't have ETKA in this computer, I just remember that B3 A90 suspension changed two times - first one, I guess, is similar to B2q [and I guess my car have it], then sometime in 1987 or 1988. happened changeover and then again sometime happened changeover to Typ8A. This evening I'll verify it, but I somehow believe that B3 had only one type one piece struts. |

I guess that means "rare"? Unfortunately over here it's other way around - seeing how many cars in junkyards have old type light switches, I have doubts about ability to quickly get pair of split struts if needed - while I'm sure that I would be able to get at least dozen of goddamn one piece struts just once visiting three biggest junkyards in nearby Liepāja
