Steve travelled up here to collect the red coupe my pal Creag had off Leah ...
I collected Steve from Glasgow central in the Cabrio V8 which made his day listening to that V8 breathing out if Milltec exhausts !!

Had a brew, sorted out the paperwork then headed off back to Norfolk area I think ?... anyway as mentioned Steve had a wicked sense if humour, he was a few cannonballs shy of a broadside but my gawd could he lay on the piss taking but in a funny angle and not malicious at all.

He would ring all hours of the night for a chat, I think just to speak to someone about his troubles that day.

I only met Steve personally a couple of times, once at AITP and the N&N then when he came up here.

He was certainly wired differently from most of us but he had his heart in the right place and was often trying to help others on here in the early days. Not heard from Steve for a few years.

Saddened to hear the news this afternoon from Micky

Has anyone heard what happened ?

Just a thought- it may not be appropriate for any specific details to be discussed in open public forum, out of respect to both Steve, and his family. 2 pennies worth.

Sad news. Characters are always missed.

Those early random posts were memorable. Anybody else remember when he joined the Honda Forum, and upset some of the American members on there.
