aye, proper gutted here. Not seen or heard of him in about 12 months, but he was one of the forums proper characters. Gone but not forgotten. RIP Steve, raising a glass of red now in your memory.

Totally stunned, both of us, as some of you know, Sally went out with Steve before me so she is understandably upset.

He was a true one off and one of the original members. Older members will remember some crazy Friday and Saturday nights where none of the threads were about cars, sadly those days are no more and more of us now use facebook.

But he and those other early members are what made this place so endearing to us all.

It was AITP 2010 that I last saw him, I will never forget the Noggin n Natter he came to in the same year, where I spent most of the meeting thinking this simply cannot be Groomus he seems quite normal lol.

Sally and my thoughts are with his parents this evening

well said Dave. The fact that he has 3500+ plus posts on here but hardly any in the last few years, just shows how active he was on this place in the early days. I remember going to bed one night at midnight, and getting up next morning at around 7, only to see about 100+ new posts and it was Steve and a couple of others have totally random conversations about absolutely nothing and some of the posts were just hilarious!

Very sad to hear about Steve. He was much too young to go.
Those early random posts were memorable. Anybody else remember when he joined the Honda Forum, and upset some of the American members on there.

Gutted to hear this, a proper character that I had some great laughs with.
He was very frustrating at times and had lots of demons but mainly a heart of gold.
I helped him with quite a few things being fairly local to him
