Hi everybody, any news on the running gear front? Since this thread is along the lines of my own conundrum, I would like to add the following: I am trying to figure out what options I have to upgrade the brake system without converting to full S2 specs, since that would be impossibly expensive for me at the moment. One thing I am considering is upgrading the front brakes to Girling 60 calipers, but what would I need to mount them properly on the struts?

Increasing to any size above stock will require bigger wheels. 15" can take modified Corrado G60 brakes (280mm) but I found twin pot calipers still fouled my Ronal R8's so still running original single pot on series 3 struts. Anything bigger than 280mm and you'll need 16" wheels... Early Series 3 struts have the larger caliper mounts that the Twin pots will bolt straight onto....
