The chap on the phone seemed to think it was either Nissen or Hella.
I’ll see today, is there a brand that is difficult to fit due to the inlet pipes ?

No they should be identical sizes.

Don't worry unduly about the brand, unless it's some cheap crap name nobodies ever heard of you should be fine. Nissen or Hella will do the job.

As Mike said, they are different units for lhd and rhd - ISTR the lhd is a 893 part number....I probably still have the one wrongly ordered years ago!!!

OEM reference number - begins with 893 for LHD and 894 for RHD - in case if that's B4 part number, LHD one will likely be 8A0, and RHD one, I'll guess, will begin with 8A1 or 8A2.

If you’ve ordered it from GSF, it’ll be for a right hand drive car.
Don’t worry about all the confusing information
