Default Anyone got a cheap 3B distributor

Would like to bring the Cq to ADI but at present the interrmittent but worsening cutting out issue will put a stop to that. A bit of reading up has suggested that the Hall sensor in the distributor is the likely culprit but a new one from Audi is £160 and direct from Bosch £65 that I cannot afford to fork out for if I am to find the fuel money to get me down to ADI.
So I am hoping someone has an old 3B distributor lying around (after doing a coil pack conversion) I can throw on to keep me going until the end of October when the car goes on SORN and will then return it.
Then have 6 months to sort it properly...

How soon you need it? Is it the same as RR one? I have my old one kicking about somewhere, will check on Saturday.

Yep RR same as 3B in that respect. Need to receive it in time to get it fitted for ADI and will pay your postage. HAd codes read last night and it came up with about 6 faults inc G40 HAll sender. Might well be something common to all faults but at least I can eliminate the hall sender if I swap distributor. Cheers.
Also the fault only causes an issue at tickover. Hot or cold. Keep the revs up and it keeps running.... at the moment
