Audi Coupe Quattro Brakes and Fleix Pipes
3 Questions around brakes:
1. About to set about changing all 4 flexi pipes on the CQ as I had an advisary on the MOT last year. Anything I should be aware of tackling the job or is it fairly straight forwards to do? 2. The car had brand new discs and pads all round about 4-5 years ago, and has done about 5000 miles since and they are squeeling a fair bit when braking, anything I should be looking out for, or is it a case of taking out the pads, re-applying some cooper slip and see what happens (the discs don't look scored) 3. If I go about taking the brakes apart to check, whats the procedure for winding back the calipers, its a straight push in or do you have to wind in the cylinder, if so do I need a special tool to do so? Thanks!

Good news is the flexi pipes are not NLA from Audi about £16 + vat
Disks don't looked scored, in fact they don't even look worn!

Pete does the hoses for the ur i got some rears from him this week
The rear calipers need to be wound back in, when you have fitted the pads push the footbrake down a few times to move the pads out BEFORE applying the handbrake copperslip should stop the brakes squeeling

Yes there is a tool to do the job , brake caliper wind back tool, halfuads do it, you may need to check which calipers you have (allen key in the centre of the piston or to cut outs on the edge of the piston )
