he was hilarious, john - a real toff and yet with such a sense of his own self that it made it hilarious!! you would think that all that success and all those babes would have gone to his head. . . .not a bit of it. the man is a legend and totally sent himself up.

he was talking about those screen babes that he snogged in the bond films..

"i became quite an expert at kissing. you'd be lying there at 6 in the morning, with 6 sparks above you, 3 camera men around you and 3 runners all going,

"go on, son! give 'er one!!" and at the same time trying to remain professional!!

Thanks to a sparse acting career post Professionals, Lewis will probably always be remembered as Bodie and thankfully not as some boring old luvvie poncing about doing Shakespeare at the National or whatever, which I think is possibly quite a good epitaph.

After all who wouldn't want to be remembered as they were in their prime?

i was appalled to see an article in one of the chip wrapper tabloids back in the summer showing a photo of bodie taken around that time. did we really think that he would still look like he did in his thirties?!

It's such a shame to hear we lost Lewis,
Bigger shame we didnt see more of him after the professionals

Very disapointed that most of the news channels choose to run a load of rubbish rather then mentioning he'd passed

well look on the bright side - how wonderful that he inspired a whole lot of 60s and 70s kids like us lot to love the professionals and the cars that appeared on that show.
