Having just read this thread, clearly there are a lot of people that have just experienced for probably the first time in their lives what it is like to not get their own way.!
As far as I am aware, democracy involves a population making a choice wether to choose one thing or another If more people want A than B then A wins. Its really quite simple. Why is it that when things don,t go some peoples way, they throw their toys out of the pram! At the end of the day, it is irrelevant as to the reasons why we voted for what we did the results were what they were, maybe some people are just incapable of "getting on with it" Nobody is perfect!!! And we are not all stupid either. |

Well..... having lived in Scotland and England I would say the vast majority are stupid. In the sense that they are very easily swayed by social pressure and the media, agreed, the media has always been biased in regard to the rulling classes maintaining the status quo and the reasons for both the US and brexit vote going the way they did was because of this trait of the British, islanders who are scared of invaders. And for the Americans, immigrants who are scared of brown people, local or not. Most of England voted the way they did due to the issue of european imigration, because they are led to believe that it's a major problem, and most of Scotland voted the way they did because they were led to believe that it would invoke a second independence referendum.
When all the time it's your own rulling classes (financial or genetic) who are ramming a giant c*** up your a**e very day, red, white and blue in both cases. |

But regardless, I was actually talking about Trump's addiction to social media, and how frightening that is, has any other president ever found the time away from work to do anything?!?! let alone 'tweet' or whatever the hell he's doing.

I have a hard time trusting The Donald when reading the daily news become more like watching an episode of Geordie Shore...
How can you trust a person that can only express himself in blocks of up to 144 characters ?? It's not our goverments that rule the world anymore, it's Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and what not and to a large extent by using unverified FAKE news or twisted facts. We are alle being lobby'ed by corporations and political groups via social media and the REAL NEWS media have become irellevant bystanders. When we search information we become more and more inclined to search information that support our own beliefs - regardless they are FAKE news. Quote:

Goldman Sachs rules the world, and the Fed. which are both financed by the same aristocrats, dictators and greedy ****ers. facebook etc. are just the new diversion, it used to be the tabloid media. Maybe in europe its different, most of you have already had revolutions, but the BBC has never been unbiased in the UK to anything other than keeping you in the dark and distracting you with irrelevant tangents, easy to fool most people.
What we're witnessing globally is the beginings of the collapse of this civilization, the pattern repeats throughout history, a section of society hoards a good, water, food, gold, whatever, then we all kill each other blaming the wrong people. The increase in theft etc. in the UK, blamed on eastern europeans and the decrease in respect for others is part of this disintegration. Offshoring of jobs to the east, creating unemployment here and also being blamed on european immigration is just part of the hoarding process, they all want more, forever, in a finite world. Because success is now the perceived 'Cheif Good', Aristotle knew the Cheif Good was happiness. We're all f***ed, I'm going to go on ebay and buy another classic audi.
