Default Audi 80 B4 speaker upgrades

I'm thinking of replacing the current speakers in my 80 as, well they are a bit pants

For the back doors, I'm thinking that these would work quite nicely

For the dash though, will these go in ok without major surgery?

It'll all be run off my headunit (4x50w) as I don't want the hassel of an amp at the mo (that'll only encourage me to stick a sub in too :P)

Thoughts/recommendations welcome (budget of £150 to do the lot)

I put these in the front of my 80.

A lot better.

I've also got the alpines in both the B3 and B4, excellent speakers!

Replacing the dash speakers - does the dash need to come out or can it be done it situ?

Cheers

I just wanted to add that what that chap did with his speaker grilles is quick'n'dirty solution - proper way to do this is like this, and with speaker cloth, only it requires a bit patience.

The difference in sound is HUGE.

That's a neat job msh.

What tool did you use to trim away the unwanted plastic?

Utility knife. Care should be taken in order not to break the remaining, but if it breaks somewhere, super glue will fix it.
