The wires- are they all connected to a plug, or completely loose?

All you have to do is to get to nearest junkyard and cut a pair of those ISO connectors from some car - and you will find them in any car which is newer than 15 years. I got mine from Opel Omega. Of course, next thing will be wiring them up which probably won't be as simple as Micky said, depending how properly you will want to do that - in ISO A connector is place for ignition, ground, battery, illumination, antenna power, speed signal [aftermarket radios will unlikely need it, but that wire is probably already hanging there], mute [some aftermarket radios could use that feature, but unless you want to install button in the back for passengers, you won't need it, as it's intended for telephone] and reverse light [needed for navigations, so unneeded for you & harder to properly wire, as it's not in that loom on B3]. Also, there could be a problem with the speakers as well - depending on what you have in the back - if nothing or passive speakers, fine, if original active speakers, you don't have to wire them up to B connector but instead you have to attach a pair of RCA plugs, which is the usual way for aftermarket stereos to output line out.
