Difficult to know what kind of shillings these are worth, there can't be many still kicking about. I had one back in 1985, at the tender age of 25, in silver with the green/blue check interior and a 5 speed manual box. Had been a company car belonging the the MD of Lindt Chocolates UK for the first 4 years of its life, I paid £2850 quid for it with 60,000 on the clock. Wheel spin was available in third gear in the wet on demand, the turbo lag was massive, but it turned heads (including that of the young woman who since 1987 has been my wife). Wonder if VLU 864X is still alive??
Equally diffcult to know what value to put on a 1990 100 quattro avant, fuel system needs attention, currently doesn't run, any ideas? Roger Galvin Technical Secretary, qOC quattro Workshop |
