Default Rallyrep in action

I've just received the final instructions and therefore confirmation of entry for the Great Western Sprint at Castle Combe next Saturday (27th March).

If anyone would like to pop along and watch, morning practice starts at 9.00 and the competitive runs will begin after lunch (1.30-ish). I don't think there is any admission charge.

We have entered a sprint at Castle Combe before but this is a slightly different format. Usually it is run over the 3/4 lap course, that is starting on the start grid and finishing after the second chicane, then peeling off into the the pits. Comprising of 2 practice runs in the morning and 2 competitive runs in the afternoon.

This event is over 1 and 3/4 laps for the 2 competitive runs and 1 practice run of 2 and 3/4 laps in the morning. The start will be from the pit exit and then finishing after 1 complete lap at the same place just past the second chicane.

As usual my friend and I are "double driving" so the car will be out on track 6 times during the day.

There's more information and an entry list here:

You should know the car Chris, it was what we were sitting behind at ADI on the grid and as soon as we were allowed out we thought ' where the hell did that go'...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done. Did that cost you much?

Just been looking at the weather, it's supposed to be dry on Saturday!
A bit of rain though on Friday night, so the track will probably start off damp.

Just looked at your gallery, that's serious bit of kit.
What's it pushing out? What do you use it for?
