1990 Audi 90 20V Sport 2wd
Tornado Red 90 Sport 20V, history to around 80k, currently 94k. Charcoal Jacquard interior correct for the car, manual sunroof, all 4 windows are electric. Loads spent over the years, fully rebushed throughout, new rear dampers, exhaust, ball joints, arb links, 4 new 205/50 15 tyres, alloy spare, fuel pump and loads of other stuff. Correct leather steering wheel and gearknob in good condition, original radio. ABS power relay replaced. Llambda sensor replaced. Lower door trim strips replaced when they were still available a couple of years back. It's the earlier 7A as can be seen by the idle valve and piping, so has the 5 branch manifold.
I bought the car off here from Richie, here's the album at the time: http://www.classic-audi.co.uk/forum/...hp?albumid=564 It was a cat C salvage, needed a rear beam (bent in an accident, hence cat C not D as originally thought - no body damage - the suspension damage puts it a class higher) and replacement of rusty front wings which Richie did, along with some paint and a VIC check at the time. Straight car, tidy and original with the go and sound of a 20V car. Forged front wishbones, proper alloy rear spoiler. I have loads more pics if needed. Last edited by chalkyh; 19-03-17 at 12:08 PM. That's a really nice car with (in my opinion) low mileage for it's age. Very nice price too.
Cat D?......so what. Can't see this hanging around, shame you have to sell as it looks like you've taken car of it since Richie sold it. |

With older cars I think it matters much less as parts availability can make even a minor repair difficult to do economically.
Great car at a fair price I think |

Any car that is cat C has that stigma attached, regardless of its age. It has to affect a cars value, if it wasn't cat C the car would easy be worth £2,000 but as it's cat C I agree with Audi80fan that £1,500 is a fair price.
