I'm glad this generated some laughs. I thought it was just me being funny!

Why did he buy it if he doesn't like German cars?!! Perhaps it thought he could make some money by putting it on eBay! It's a bloody automatic, I'm going to avoid them from now on (my box has just been fully rebuilt).

It's from the Manor of Lancing, West Sissix by the sea, barely a pigeon dropping away in distance, yet a world away in parish status. It has a certain 'local' notoriety... Even in the Panto we went to see on Friday, they ripped the pi$$ out of Lancing... 'UF' is a Sussex index, so it's probably been in the county all it's life, the rust, the towing bracket (think 1.4 tonnes of 1980's Sprite Musketeer), think Lancing and think veeerryyy carefully.

PS - I've no direct knowledge of the car, so viewing is the only option really... But as soon as I saw the B&Q car park, I knew where it was.

Tell me this....how can an auto electrician who can spell exceptional and enthusiastic, not know that BREAKS, are what you have between work, in order to eat your cheese and onion sandwiches, or stand in the cold smoking a fag. They are not the mechanical device used with the assistance of hydraulics On occasion to decrease the velocity of a vehicle!!!???

Oh and isn't the bit where you get in, the hole where the door fits?!!!

Hats off to the spell it like it sounds education.....Wot a lowd of Bollocxs!!

Nice car apart from the A pillars and other issues, which are bargaining tools. And are you taking a risk it blowing up five minutes down the road since he's mentioned it. Also he's suggesting changing the injectors etc, that makes it over a grand just addressing the engine. He's got that cheap and is after a fast buck. It's a good car at the right price. £500 max.
