Now with the brake pedal pressed you can just see the piston moving, but it only moves a few mm before stopping again, its like its catching on something inside.
Like when you take a piston out using an air line, I was expecting the same thing to happen with the fluid - obviously I had a block of wood in the way to stop it firing onto next dorrs garden! lol
I hope you have been pulling the handbrake up and down when you are pressing the brake pedal? you need to

hang on, let me get this right?
I wind the piston in while someone uses the handbrake? or a bleed the system and use the handbreak at the same time?

Bleed the system as normal. once you are happy no air is coming out lock the bleed nipple. Get in the car and press the brake pedal up and down so the piston pushes out and hits the disk, as you are doing this pull the handbrake up and down (keep your finger on the release button)

well, while I was bleeding the caliper I had my mum pressure the pedal and handbrake on.

Bled it till all the air had come out, tightened everything up and it still doesnt work on either the pedal or the handbreak.

Is the handbrake lever on the caliper actually moving? the handbrake might feel correct as it is working on the other side.
