Default Comet Ison (now Comet Icarus!)

Anybody been watching this? Should be visible in the east just before sunrise,from December 3rd.

yep, was reading up on this yesterday.

Shame the view between me and the east is obscure by a bloody great big hill! I could climb up it and get a decent view though but given the time it'll be going over, that's not really an option!

I've been reading aboot it! Hope it survives the turn. Just shows you how these things can come out of nowhere though! There's a lot of stuff out there.

Did you see the documentary that was talking about amino acids being created as a comet strikes another body in space? We are not alone... ergo - christianity is indeed, wrong.

Yes that was very interesting,i liked the part about the earth travelling through space,orbiting the sun at over 60,000 miles, thats shifting!

Same here, this is the southern uplands, no shortage of hills looking east,i'm gonna try and get a view of it being such a rare event,i remember seeing one going to primary school, it was very clear in the morning sky,that would be in the early 70s
