Default Blood red stuff in seals kit?!

I'm rebuilding a pair of bas-allroad-tard calipers, seals kit has slider grease but also a sachet of what looks like halloween fake blood, looks kind of like turbo assembly lube. Is it for the piston seals?! Normally just use brake fluid. Don't want to stick it in the wrong place! any ideas?

I don't know how right or wrong it is, but I normally use a silicon spray to aid assembly on rubber brake components.
