Had a few mk2 and mk3 Cavs, they were always a good seller, mk3's gave star ship miles from the Isuzu 1.7td and were the taxi drivers favourite, always fancied a sports hatch.

My first car was a Mk1 Cavalier coupe in orange - OHD984P was the reg - fantastic first car - sold it after my mate ran into the back of me in his dads Mk1 Cavalier which oddly enough was the same colour and bought an Opel Manta Hatchback...which is where my problems started!!!!!

My first car was a Mk1 Cavalier 2.0 GL in red. KDG 97V followed by a 2.0 GLS Sportshatch, GYB 897T. Years later I had a Mk3 2.0 16v GSi 4x4, a Mk2 1.6 GL and finally a Mk3 2.0 8v SRi saloon, L639 KTM.

I probably posted this before, but I make no apology, but this my Cav1 in Burnt Orange.
So 70's it makes me Birmingham Bags flap in the breeze and me platforms wobble. Everyone's dad had one! Was anyone at Boddelwythen at the weekend, there were over 700 cars there. Clud Audi with smattering diverse offerings was there. Ther was a heavily modded CQ. Plus two what looked like WR Turbos[IMG] [/IMG]

Yep, I'm a Vauxhall Cavalier fan. Fancy a mk3 Cavalier Turbo one day. My grandad had a black mk2, then a blue mk3 cav gls for 15 years. Awesome cars, really reliable most of the time.

Many thanks, I used to like the colour Jamaica Yellow that my dad's Cav used to be in. But I got this Burnt Orange in 2011 and have to say I now agree with you, this is the best colour.
The colour looks flat in that autumn picture, but in summer sunlight... [IMG][/IMG] Inside is in original order too... [IMG][/IMG]
