I was lucky enough to see him many years ago, once at Wembley arena and then even earlier at a little restaurant / live venue called Plukavilles ( excuse spelling ) in Covent Garden. Damm he was so good.
We went again the following week and the artist was an unknown sax player called Courtney Pine, apart from me who had heard of him, stroke of luck. The rest with Courtney Pine is history.
Know Al - Jarreau but have never heard of the others or this track ever. Hhmmmm


You old crooner,...... Can see you sitting in a restaurant in covent garden with some live smooth funky Jazz band playing.

Yes, comment came out wrong there didn't it, restaurant wasnt posh but very funky and cool, 6' 1" in stilettos was posh though
