Alternatively, does anyone have one off the car they could trace round and provide a pdf template please?

I can live without the inner and outer lips, and can make my own dent with a hammer and a bag of sand as needed (not sure what it is for at the moment).

Painted black and buried at the back of the car, I'm not that fussy for a perfect replacement.

I do have one shield, which is close but it is for a different audi. i may have to alter that to fit if i get no joy.

https://www.blechhilfe.de/audi-typ-85/

They do a some options, mild steel, stainless.

Also, the seller from Ebay o bought the others off hasn't got anything for sale at the moment but it might be worth asking the question. See the pics for details.

Marvellous.
Thanks very much. I'm now in correspondence with the German chap.
I need the rear left for sure. Will check my others too.
Anyone want more while I'm ordering? Might save on postage costs to get a few sent over at the same time.

Hi Stuart
I don't have any.
Put me down for a full set, depending on price.

Just to confirm, 4v6 is not doing these as of December 2019, and suggests Pete Reeve at Quattro Corner.
I'm not doing a group buy from Germany, as there is no current interest (Tractor Dave is not ready for them just yet!)

So this morning, armed with tin snips, a drill and a back plate that isn’t for the Quattro, I fitted a brake back plate to the car. Would have been a quick job if one of the bolts I was using to chase out the thread in one bolt hole so I didn’t snap the bolt I was going to use hadn’t snapped.
Ah well. Drilled it out easily for the same reason it snapped-weak metal. I Fitted a bolt/nut in that hole, refitted the other two bolts, drilled a new hole and snipped off about 1cm^2 of metal and viola
Doubt I’ll ever touch that again.

I have no idea what the backplate I used was from, but I’ve been told a front VW Golf mk1 can be made to fit without too much bother. No promises as I’ve not done that!

Sorry no. I didn’t buy any in the end as there wasn’t enough interest for a group buy, and I made one fit that came with the car (but wasn’t the right one)
If you are going to get a set you might want to see if there’s any group interest too, but I don’t need any now.
Cheers!
