Received, thanks Stu.
Had a quick look when printing off today and all seems to make sense. I guess it will all fall into place when I actually study where they fit. Again, many thanks for taking the time to do this. It's been added to my winter job list.

I tried fitting mine today. Gave it up as I need more time.
There are two thick bunches of cables coming in from the engine bay, and I think 5 or 6 connectors have been disconnected from each other and replaced under the two thick bunches instead of above. This makes them More accessible from below , but means there is no way the cover will fit. Maybe tomorrow evening I’ll remove the glovebox, move the connectors back above the two bunches and try again. I worry that a passenger can kick the wiring easily and cause major problems, but am also wary of messing this simple job up. I also want to explore using a big piece of plastic instead of the card type, and I’ll need to put some foam or cotton on top of the plastic to avoid rubbing through the wiring sheaths. Also exercised the diff lock. My son pressed the button, I moved the arm. Oddly it seems that the button needs two presses to change-although I also wonder if my son didn’t press the switch fully each time. |

Obviously ended up stripping most of the fuse box out, tidying up the wiring and fitting the foot card. Took longer than I’d planned (of course) but am glad to have card in place.
