This brings back memories, I bought F973 WNH in 1989, same colour.

Default Audi Coupe

Went to see this today, Was very excited and had cash in hand, Within 30sec of seeing it, It has had paintwork done and not to a decent standard Textured below the moulding's Window's were still in when the car got the paintwork, On a plus note the interior is mint as you would expect on a 44k car, The engine sound's sweet. The price tag of £3995 is crazy. I'm gutted. Search continues

Shame if it's not so good, looks ok in the pictures, but to my eyes it proves how much better the lines were on the early bumpered cars compared to these.

Just like G30 MC I too went to view this car but when the asking price was £4495 on e-bay and 4995 on the dealer website.
Travelled to Paisley on the train expecting to see one of the best Coupe GTs in the country but instead saw 50 shades of grey!!
Car looked great as I approached it but as soon as I got close to say I was disgusted is an understatement.
After only 2 minutes viewing I told the sales guy that for the money the car was a total bag of sh*t, informed him exactly why and walked away in disgust, a complete and utter waste of my time and money.
For the mileage alone the car is worth in my opinion no more than 15-1600 quid
Had they at least cleaned the filler dust from the door jams when you viewed G30 MC?
