Is there still an MOT in the UK.
Having spent quite a bit of time sorting out the S2’s brakes even though they were completely road legal I’m tuned into brakes.
I Got my daughter to take a photo of this … we were waiting in a traffic queue for traffic lights when I spotted this on a 55 plate Lexus 400xh type thing. I’m fairly sure they’re discs although it’s hard to tell. Ironically it headed off towards Worthing hospital.

I think there are lots of cars not been used for a while, and down your way is never going to be kind to discs, but take one look at the wheels to know how well loved that car is.

There's no brake dust on the wheels because the brakes aren't working !

Rear brakes and yes discs. Handbrake shoes are inside the top hat section pushing outwards.
Been used on yotas for donkeys. Fine when maintained...looks a tad messy that. |
