Don't know if anybody else on here is into these, but I've just dug out my old Mag Burner from the loft and spent a few quid on it to get it back to tip top condition....its a real flyer!

26 years old!

How Cool
I had the Knight Burner, similar to your mag burner but with the spoke wheels (multi spokes)

Yep,

In the middle of rebuilding a '79 Schwinn Scrambler 36-36, still collecting some parts and decals but it's getting there.

OMG!!!!! What a surprise here!!!!!
I was riding BMX from 90 - 98! 2 years Latvian champion in my age group.
And 2 times 9th in European Club Championship. Never went to final in Europe... just afterfinal - or how we called - small final.
I had Mongoose with aluminium frame... Ratio 43:16

My wife thinks that I'm nuts and that it's just a fad, but when I got back on my old BMX, it felt like pure freedom, just like it did back in '84

Bloody 'ell! I had the exact same bike back in the day too Darron.
Loved it, and always regretted selling it.
I might even still have the Raleigh brochure somewhere with all the 'MAG' bikes in it.

I believe that they re-introduced them recently too. Tempting!

I had a Mk2 Chrome Burner (Oval Frame) Like this

I seem to recall it was £129 and I had it for about 6 years and I sold it for £120 to buy a racing bike It was mint as I restored it with genuine bits before I sold it........
