It'd be really good if a few of us went up in our cars - he'd have loved that!!

I for one am definately going. Anyone else wants to go, details listed below and we could all meet up to convoy..

stunned to read this despite knowing of his illness it was a privilege to have shared his company on quite a few classic audi meets i can still see him roaring away from the first beer and banter meet in the quattro and accepting Ben's award from Sally last year after the breakfast meet

Very very sad news. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends at this sad time. Although I didn't know Gordon so well, over the last couple of years we were slowly starting to get more aqcuainted. Under that sometimes gruff exterior there lurked a lovely fella thats for sure.

What I learnt about him was he was a true Petrol Head in every sense of the word, fiercly loyal to those he considered his friends and one of the forums best loved personalities.

My last memory of him was at the Beer and Banter over at the Ladybower Inn tucking into a huge steak and fighting with the biggest onion rings I'd ever seen. The onions beat him that day but he saw that steak off good and proper.

This place will be a sadder place without him. God bless Gordon wherever you are.
