As fitted BEFORE the pump-not the accumulator, this is the one that is NLA. Mine was made in WEST Germany...so was probably on the car when sold. When I removed it, I could not blow through it as the gauze was so solid with gum and rust. Yours is probably the same-so the pump works extra hard, draws extra current, burns that wire under the rear seat...
