Was this your picture Mark? If so you must have an awesome camera or else someone flying was very low!!

There is only one BBMF Lancaster , last year there was indeed a second Lanc gracing the skies here but it is normally based in Canada. The third Lanc is somewhere up in the Midlands or North of England , but is restricted to doing fast taxying up and down the Airfield altho' I believe there may be plans ( if they can find sufficient sponsorship ) to get it airborne again sometime in the distant future.

Now that would be good!

My Gran worked at Avro during the war making the Lancasters, and my Mum worked there in the 50's when they were making the Vulcans.
