Funny, this is not funny, I could not make this up, just picked up the second pair of glasses to put them on to read a post on the forum and there was a little noise like something had dropped on to my desk, so as you do, I looked down and the right hand lens fell out of the second pair of glasses and hit the desk top, the first noise was the little screw that holds the lens in, so things are not getting better, had a look for the screw but can't see no glasses Good night all now going to bed, hope I make it.

Ah but did you make it thru the night in one go or did you have to get up several times

Even worse you might have needed to get up but didn't make it

Made it through the night with no accidents, getting ready to go to Knockhill for a 4Hr session with Track Scotland in the BMW compact with the guy's, need to remember my sun glasses, HaHaHa, Knockhill and sun glasses at this time of year, weather forecast for today is fog clearing to mist clearing to dark clouds possible light rain, I am looking at it this way things can only get better.

So you're looking at it in a squinty blurry half focused kinda way...

lol.... Indeed.
Best bit is, he'll not be able to read the 'acceptance of liability waiver' on the signing in form.

What could possibly go wrong ?

All went right today, 4Hr session at Knockhill with the BMW Compact and it is still running, few tire issues mainly due to lack of air pressure in tires (don't ask me to operate at 12v plug in tire inflator because I can't), Ian as good as his word, turned up in his Ur quattro and the weather was a lot better than foretasted, still no sign of the lost reading glasses.

Need to say this, the normal five auld farts turned out to be four auld farts and a lovely young lady driving the compact today, this was her first track day and she wants to come back for more.

Glad you had a great day fella, getting out on a track is a great experience.. I'd like to take the pi$$ but I've just bumbled about Sussex in a typical South East UK traffic queue with the Rally Quattro today which is enjoyable and deeply frustrating in equal measure.

I could not make this up, came back on Sunday from our meeting in South Edinburgh, I was in the Coupe GT and I have just replaced the rear discs and pads during the previous week and striped and cleaned the front brakes at the same time, I did take a longer way home down into the boarders area and when closer to home decided to try the new / rebuilt brakes, all was well both front wheels locked at the same time, no pulling left or right and the brakes had a nice feel to them, on parking the car in the garage I looked to the passengers seat to get my reading glasses as that is where I had laid them getting into the car and no glasses but due to the heavy braking they were on the passengers foot well floor, as I bent over to pick them up I uttered these words " WHERE THE PUCK HAVE YOU BEEN" and low and behold the glasses I lost in October 2017 along side my new reading glasses, I was in this car more than once back in 2017 looking for theses glasses and could not find them.
